Neighborhood Prayer W.A.L.K.

Connect With God & Your Community Through Prayer

Jesus called us to LOVE our neighbors. But, how do we love them? One way to do this is to pray for them. God placed us in our home, with our exact neighbors, for a purpose. As a family, set aside a focused time of prayer specifically for those living in your neighborhood — whether you know them or not. A fun and engaging way to involve your kids in this is by going on a Neighborhood Prayer W.A.L.K.

Follow these W.A.L.K. guided steps to Worship God, Ask about others, Listen to God, and gain Knowledge about your community and neighbors.

Listen Up!
Learning to listen to God’s voice can be difficult, especially in this busy culture. But, learning to slow down and focusing on what God is commanding of us is an important lesson we must teach our kids. This fun activity will help kids grasp the concept of filtering out the noise in culture and focusing on the ONE voice we should listen to — God’s voice! So, grab a few friends or family and play this Listen Up! game.
