Contact Us- Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
What is a Donor-Advised Fund?
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account you establish through a financial institution or community foundation. You contribute cash or appreciated assets (such as stocks), receive an immediate charitable tax deduction, and then recommend grants to charities — like Bible2School — over time. Why do many donors choose a DAF instead of giving assets directly?
A DAF offers several advantages:- You can take a tax deduction in the year you contribute — even if you give the funds to charities gradually
- You can donate appreciated assets and potentially avoid capital gains taxes
- Funds in the DAF can often be invested and grow tax-free for future giving
- It simplifies record-keeping by consolidating donations in one place
- It provides flexibility to support multiple ministries and causes over time
How do I start a DAF if I don’t have one?
Many banks, investment firms, and community foundations offer Donor-Advised Funds. Bible2School also has a working relationship with the National Christian Foundation (NCF) and often recommends them as a Christ-centered option for establishing a DAF. However, donors are not limited to NCF and are welcome to work with any DAF provider of their choice.Once your DAF is established and funded, you can begin recommending grants right away.
How do I give to Bible2School through my DAF?
If you already have a DAF, simply log into your account, search for Bible2School, and submit a grant recommendation.Bible2School

- IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution
What is a Qualified Charitable Distribution?
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows individuals age 70½ or older to give directly from their Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to a qualified nonprofit like Bible2School. Instead of withdrawing the funds personally, the gift is sent straight from your IRA to the ministry. How does a QCD work with Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)?
Once you reach the age when RMDs are required (currently age 73 for most individuals), a QCD can count toward satisfying all or part of your annual RMD — while supporting a charitable cause you care about. Why do many donors choose a QCD?
- May reduce taxable income by excluding the distribution from income
• Helps fulfill Required Minimum Distributions
• Provides a simple way to make a meaningful gift
• Allows you to support Bible2School directly from retirement assets
How do I make a QCD to Bible2School?
Contact your IRA custodian and request a Qualified Charitable Distribution to Bible2School. They will provide the necessary form or process to complete the transfer.Bible2School

Adding Bible2School to your will or trust is often quick and straightforward. Your attorney or financial advisor can include Bible2School’s name and location using simple language to reflect your giving intentions.
Planned gifts like a bequest may offer benefits such as:

By naming Bible2School as a beneficiary of assets such as retirement accounts (IRAs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s), life insurance policies, investment accounts, or donor-advised funds, you can support our mission while potentially reducing your tax burden.
Including Bible2School is simple — just request a beneficiary designation form from your financial institution and list Bible2School as a beneficiary.

- Gift Annuity — Change to Charitable Gift Annuity
A charitable gift annuity (CGA) is an arrangement in which a donor makes an irrevocable gift of cash or appreciated securities to support Bible2School and, in return, receives fixed payments for life (or for the life of another designated beneficiary).
The payment amount is based on factors such as the donor’s age and the value of the gift. Upon the completion of the annuity payments, the remaining portion of the gift is used to further the mission of Bible2School.
Charitable gift annuities may offer a combination of philanthropic impact and predictable income. Tax considerations vary by individual and gift type, so we recommend consulting with a financial or legal advisor.
To learn more about charitable gift annuities and whether this option may be appropriate for you, please contact Ron Jones at ronjones@bible2school.com or call us at (717) 615-2944.
