Let Your Light Shine!

As Christian parents, we want our children to proudly live out their faith. We want the light of the Lord to shine through them to point others to the goodness and glory of God. One way they can outwardly showing their faith is with a cross!

Use this resource to talk your child through what it means to “let your light shine” and make this beaded cross craft that they can proudly wear as a necklace or attach it to their backpack! It would also make a great gift!

Materials Needed

  • A Bible, highlighter, and a pen or pencil
  • Pipe cleaner (cut in half and twisted into a cross)
  • 10” piece of yarn
  • Wood beads (6 or 8mm): 4 of one color, 16 of another color
