Godstory Highlight

At Bible2School, we are fueled by Godstories —  little glimpses of how God is working through our ministry. We love to share these stories with others! They show us the seeds that are being sown in children’s lives, and they represent the impact of Bible2School.

We hope you enjoy this Godstory, about a boy named Johnny…

Johnny’s Story

Johnny was a 3rd grade boy attending a public school in Pennsylvania. On the first day of school, he brought home a Bible2School postcard and told his mother he wanted to go. Since his family didn’t attend church, he wanted to sign up to learn more about Jesus. His mother signed the permission form so he could start attending Bible2School. There, Johnny quickly learned that God made him, loves him, and has a plan for his life. He shared, “I learned that Jesus will always help you and guide you to the right place.”

Johnny’s family was struggling. One day, his mother was washing dishes in the kitchen and she looked up to the sky and said, “Alright God, help me.” A moment later, Johnny walked into the kitchen and said, “Mommy, can you take me to church? We need Jesus.” She quickly realized: God was the answer. And her sweet son was the light guiding her to Him.

The relationship that Johnny had built with God, through Bible2School, impacted their family. Now, a few members of the family attend church regularly and have accepted Jesus as their Savior. Bible2School gave Johnny the confidence to share his faith with his family, and they are forever changed.

WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

Children NEED to hear Biblical truth, and we believe there is an urgency for children of this generation. Ready to hear why?
